Almost Easter......

We've borrowed (and will be buying) a tent off our lovely neighbours Karen and Colin, together with a pile of other things and will be off camping with friends on Good Friday! I can't wait!!!!

I went to my spin and tone class this morning and boy am I aching!!!! Gavin at the gym has changed the routine...................no pain no gain eh??!!!

I'm enjoying a bit of peace and quiet before picking the monkeys up from pre-school/daycare!!

What a great day.......


My day started at the gym for a 30 minute run. I still can't believe I can do it!!!! Came home and Nige cooked one of our faves on the barbie - egg in toast and bacon Mmmmmmmmmmm!


We've been out on the boat today fishing, Jess fell asleep so I had chance to read my book! We caught a few bream and a flathead but threw them back, but then we caught a huge bream (I can't take all of the glory for it!! I cast it, but Nige pulled it in!) Anyway, I've kind of filleted it and thrown it in the freezer. I really need lessons on preparing fish!!!




It's been a lovely day.

Weigh in.......

Weigh in day today and I've lost 1.2kg, so I'm mega chuffed!! I'm down to 76kg now. I've lost 16kg since we arrived in Australia ............. 9 of that is just from January. All down to not drinking, exercising and sticking to my diet plan.

I am soooooooooo going to do this!!!!!!!!

My goal.....

While I was sweating my tats off on the treadmill this morning, I've decided to set my goal. I'm going to get to goal by October. I know that's ages away, but I've still got a way to go to get to 64kg. At least if I aim for October, it would of taken me 2 years and I WILL be a beach babe at Christmas!!!!! Yummy Mummy status here I come!!!!!

My first 5km run


I'm really chuffed today, I'm in to the 9th week of the C25K (Couch to 5km running) program and have done my first 30 minute run on the treadmill!!!!! WOO HOOOOO!!!!! There is no way in this world I thought I'd be able to do it when I started the program. It's great and highly recommended!!!! It's something you can do either at home, outdoors or on the treadmill.

I think I must have the exercise bug! I'm doing 3 sessions a week at the gym which includes my C25K session on the treadmill, plus one spin and tone class, one step combo class and one 30 minute step class. I love it!!! I can really see the difference too. I think Nige can too!!

I'm so determined to get to goal now! I had a clear out yesterday of my clothes that didn't fit anymore! It's such a great feeling. Mind you, it means that my wardrobe is a bit empty!!!

I've had such great support from the guys off the Weightwatchers UK site and also off the Aussie site and I've made many new friends.
