My Birthday weekend.......


We have had a great weekend away with friends. On Friday which was my birthday, we went up to Sandy Beach, which is north of Coffs Harbour and rented a beautiful holiday home for the weekend. I made some curries for the Friday night - we had lamb and spinach curry, chicken balti, mushroom bhaji, spicy potato and spinach, rice and roti breads. All low fat (apart from the rotis!) It was delish if I do say so myself!!! Saturday we went down to the beach for a few hours and then back to the house to let the little ones sleep and have a champers lunch, so we had a lovely lazy afternoon, followed by a lovely bbq prepared by Mel and Will.
















I feel like a totally different person compared to last month!! My doc has upped the dose of happy pills, but I feel great!! I'm exercising and sticking well to my diet, which I know is helping and apart from this weekend, I'm not drinking. The only way I can describe the way I felt was dark. I know that sounds like a cliche, but that's exactly how I felt. I didn't want to do anything, I was so so so up tight all the time, like a coiled spring and so weepy constantly! God knows how Nige put up with me. That guy needs a medal, I tell ya!!! He has supported me so much and I love him with all my heart.
